The psychedelic therapist functions as the provider of therapeutic services for clients in a private-practice setting. They are responsible for providing a variety of outpatient therapy services to clients with a variety of presentations with a focus on feminist, social justice and racial justice psychotherapeutic modalities.
Job duties:
-Review, evaluate and provide initial diagnostic evaluation of clients.
-Provide individual, group, couples or family therapy services for clients.
-Provide psychedelic integration services
-Provide ketamine assisted psychotherapy
-Continually improve quality of therapy provided via input from clinical supervision, professional conference attendance and analysis of clinical literature.
-Maintain member records in accordance with requirements set forth by the agency and AZBBHE.
-Ensure that accurate, legible, timely and complete documentation in accordance with agency requirements.
Important Requirements
-At least 21 years of age
-Must be in possession of a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance.
-Master's degree in social work or counseling psychology
-Licensed at the associate level with AZBBHE (LAC, LMSW)
-Demonstrates clinical competency in accordance with standards for the position.
-Experience conducting individual, group and family therapy.
-Thorough knowledge of DSM V.
